Dr. Nagesh was born and brought up in Rourkhela Odisha and completed his M.B.B.S., M.S. General surgery from V.V.S. Medical college, Burla, Sambalpur. He stood first in the all India entrance for MCH in G.B. Pant Research Institute, New Delhi in his batch. He completed his MCH in 2004.
